I’m a contrarian,<\/em><\/strong>
\nA skeptic, through and through,
\nDon’t follow the narrative,
\nLike I’m told I must do<\/em><\/strong>.
\nI’m my own person,<\/em><\/strong>
\nNot some left wing classification,
\n<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Believing in free speech,<\/em><\/strong>
\nNot some Marxist interpretation.
\nI’ve retained my sense and reason,
\nNot been politically corrected,
\nAnd by the woke ideology
\nI’ve not been infected.
\nDon’t bow to the media,
\nBy their brainwashing not cowed.<\/em><\/strong>
\nA critical thinker at heart,<\/em><\/strong>
\nWhen critical thoughts aren\u2019t allowed,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0I search for reality,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
\nDoesn’t mean I lack emotions,<\/em><\/strong>
\nI just don\u2019t confuse them with facts,<\/em><\/strong>
\n\u00a0And all those wierd notions.
\nAn environmentalist as well,
\nIn the true meaning of the word,
\nNot a climate change disciple,
\nFollowing a religion that’s absurd.
\nNot frightened by debate,
\nDon’t need to call people a name,<\/em><\/strong>
\nDon’t feel responsible for our past,
\nNot looking for someone to blame.
\n<\/strong><\/em>I used to be one of many,<\/em><\/strong>
\nPerhaps now one of the few,<\/em><\/strong>
\nJust shows what dumbing-down<\/em><\/strong>
\nAnd indoctrination can do.<\/em><\/strong>
\nBeing a questioner and a thinker<\/em><\/strong>
\nMight make me a strange blend,<\/em><\/strong>
\nBut I’ve no plans to change,<\/em><\/strong>
\nA contrarian to the end. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
