The weather’s heavy today,
\nThink I’ll stay indoors;
\nDon’t get on with heavy weather
\nSo I’ll put my day on pause.
\nGrey and oppressive,
\nThick humid air,
\nHopefully bringing rain,
\nBut I don’t know from where.
\nA warm night in prospect
\nIf we don’t get a breeze,
\nA stoep sitting night
\nDowning a few long iced teas
\nAnd hoping that tomorrow
\nFreshness returns once more,
\nUntil then this heavy weather
\nIs such a pain to endure.<\/p>\n
