Five minutes, just five minutes, …that’s all I wanted.<\/em><\/strong>
\nIs it asking too much?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fly found me
\nAs on my sunbed I rested,
\nBuzzing about my head,
\nMy short fuse sorely tested.
\nWhy flies? Why me?
\nAren\u2019t there other attractions?
\nAll I wanted was five minutes
\nWithout any distractions.<\/p>\n

From my head to my arm,
\nFrom my arm to my knee,
\nThis fly had decided
\nIt rather liked me.
\nIf its aim was to annoy
\nIt was certainly succeeding,
\nAll I wanted was five minutes
\nWith the book I was reading.<\/p>\n

I brushed it away,
\nBut it still persisted,
\nAnd my very best swearing
\nIt completely resisted.
\nAt every new invasion
\nI felt its tingling touch,
\nTrying to bite or infect me?
\nIt was all getting too much.<\/p>\n

So I closed my chapter,
\nThe plot would have to wait,
\nThat annoying, buzzing fly
\nHad now sealed its fate,
\nAnd with the book I\u2019d been reading
\nI now tried to swat it,
\nAnd after my five minutes of time
\nI finally got it.<\/p>\n
