\nIs such a magical place,
\nIt wraps around our home
\nLike a scarf around a face.
\nDespite the heat and the dry
\nAnd the wind, it still thrives,
\nAs it demands our attention
\nAnd helps shape our lives;
\nA true reflection of us,
\nOf our efforts and care,
\nSo generous in returning
\nAll the love that we share,
\nTeaching us about nature,
\nOf its fascinating ways,
\nWatching our garden evolve,
\nSurely the most special of days.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s so much more to the garden
\nThan just the plants and the trees
\nIts insects attract the birds,
\nIts flowers draw the bees,
\nSo the garden is never still,
\nAlways movement for the eye,

\nA visiting bird or butterfly,
\nOr a bee hard at work
\nAs it moves from flower to flower,
\nMesmerising us
\nFor hour after hour;
\nA world within a world,
\nWhere from stress we are free,
\nOur garden at Stone Cottage,
\nThere\u2019s no better place to be.<\/p>\n
