Talking to voice robots is taking over so fast,
\nAs personal service becomes a thing of the past.
\n“It\u2019s to improve customer service” – are they being funny?
\nAnswering systems are installed just to save money.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe system will help us to redirect your call\u201d
\nThat is such a big lie for which we all fall.
\nCan\u2019t think of anything that gets more on my nerves
\nThan the endless menu of options a robot serves.<\/p>\n

\u201cSales or service? Enter your customer code.
\nSorry, not recognised, you need to re-load\u201d
\nYou navigate that maze and then what do they do?
\nTell you your call is now being held in queue!<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t hang up\u201d, says the robot, \u201cyour call is important\u201d,
\nTo not giving a damn, what an endorsement.
\nIf your call meant so much, then surely they\u2019d choose
\nTo personalise their service and those robots just loose.<\/p>\n

At last a human voice might eventually appear,
\nBy which time the phone\u2019s become a part of your ear,
\nAnd you\u2019ve a headache, you\u2019re stressed and feeling quite rotten,
\nAnd the reason for phoning you\u2019ve completely forgotten.<\/p>\n

And as robot services are not actually customer driven,
\nA name or direct number you\u2019ll never be given,
\nSo if you need to call back, you’ll have to start all over again;
\nCommunicating via robots will drive you insane!<\/p>\n
